Keep Ramirez Farm Public
Instead of maintaining the 140-year-old Ramirez Farm and Peterson Farmhouse site that can be enjoyed equally by local residents and visitors, the cities of Fremont and Union City wish to build a 4-lane expressway called the Quarry Lakes Parkway formerly called the East West Connector. This expressway is Highway 84 and will accommodate 35,000 vehicles per day!
This Proposal of an expressway and building over 500 homes with a developer severely restricts the public access to the last local farm in the Tri-City area.
